Rick Ankiel's Big Day Propels Nats To First '11 Win

WASHINGTON -- Two days after it was missing in action, the Nationals' offense came back to life in a 6-3 victory over the Braves at Nationals Park on Saturday afternoon.

Most of the Washington runs came early off right-hander Tommy Hanson, the first in the second inning when Michael Morse crossed the plate on a sacrifice fly by Danny Espinosa.

The Braves tied the score in the third off left-hander John Lannan, who allowed an RBI single to Chipper Jones. Lannan lasted five innings, allowing a run on five hits, striking out three and walking one. CONTINUE....
