Four homers for naught thanks to errors

PHOENIX -- Try as they did on Thursday night, the Nationals couldn't power past three fielding errors that led to four D-backs runs.

Literally.

Washington's dismal defense superseded its season-high-tying four solo home runs and the result was an ugly 8-4 loss.
