Dunn homers, but Nats fall to Tigers

By Mike Scott / Special to MLB.com

DETROIT -- It will be another six years before Washington returns to the Motor City for an Interleague series if Major League Baseball retains its current scheduling system, and that may not be long enough for the Nationals.

Washington was swept in rude fashion Thursday afternoon as the Tigers beat the Nationals, 8-3, on the strength of a 19-hit attack and a strong start from Jeremy Bonderman.
