Image via WikipediaWASHINGTON -- The Nationals needed to set their 40-man roster by Friday night in advance of the Rule 5 Draft and they did just that. They put relievers Adam Carr and Cole Kimball and first baseman Chris Marrero on the roster. All three players were selected by the club in the 2006 First-Year Player Draft.
The news comes hours after Washington left right-hander Juan Jamie off the 40-man roster. He was later claimed off waivers by the D-backs.
