WASHINGTON -- The Nationals promoted highly touted right-hander Stephen Strasburg to Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday afternoon. He is slated to make his Syracuse debut on Friday, when the Chiefs host the Gwinnett Braves at Alliance Bank Stadium.
