DENVER -- When Craig Stammen watched Colorado All-Star Jason Marquis pitch, he wanted to be just like him one day. The rookie Stammen came close against Marquis on Monday as the Nationals lost, 1-0, to the Rockies in front of 25,205 at Coors Field.
