Mock, Martin to state cases for Nats

VIERA, Fla. -- The Nationals start their exhibition season by playing split-squad games against the Astros and Marlins on Thursday. Both games are on the road at 1:05 p.m. ET, with manager Jim Riggleman managing the team in Kissimmee, Fla., where Houston plays.

Nats' Olsen set to pitch Monday vs. Marlins

Left-hander Scott Olsen will pitch against the Marlins at Space Coast Stadium on Monday. It will be his first game since pitching against the Astros on July 10th of last year. Olsen missed the second half of last season because of a small tear in his left labrum.

Majors not ruled out for Strasburg

VIERA, Fla. -- While manager Jim Riggleman hinted Tuesday morning that right-hander Stephen Strasburg could spend some time in Minor League camp after a couple of Spring Training starts with Washington, he definitely didn't rule out Strasburg making the team's roster for Opening Day.
